The selection of the candidates for RRB JE is done on the basis of RRB JECBT, Document Verification and Medical Test. The Computer Based Test is held in the month of April / May.
The candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria of the RRB JE Recruitment. The terms of eligibility are as follows:
Citizenship
Candidate must be a citizen of India or should be from Bhutan, and Nepal. A Tibetan Migrant can also apply but only if they fulfill the below mentioned criteria:
• Tibetan Migrants – people who have come to India and settled down before January 01, 1962.
• Candidates from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African Countries, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Zaire, Vietnam, and Ethiopia who have settled in India .
Age Limit: Candidates must be 18 years old. The upper age limit is 33 years.
Selection Process: There will be an online exam with 2 stages for RRB JE 2019, the 1st stage will be the screening test and the 2nd stage will be determine the Final Merit List.RRB JE Recruitment 2019 includes certain following steps

Negative Marks:
The negative marking for incorrect answers in CBTs. 1/3rd of the marks for each question will be deducted for each wrong answers.
Cut-off Marks:
UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%. These percentage of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates vacancies reserved for them.

RRB JE Admit card
The admit card of RRB Junior Engineer 2019 is released online and in order to download it registration number and date of birth will be needed. The admit card contains all the details about the exam city, centre, timing, reporting time, exam date, candidate, etc. The candidates must download it online and carry a hard copy of it on the exam day.The candidates must also carry one photo id proof and a passport size photograph.
The result of the examination is available as a pdf, in which the roll number of the qualified candidates will be mentioned. RRB also announces the score of the candidates.

Pay Scale
The pay scale of the candidates who is attending in RRB JE will be as per Level 06 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix.The initial basic salary will be Rs. 35400, and also include the other allowances.
